EDINBURGH
Edinburgh has been the Scottish capital since the 15th century. It has two distinct areas: the Old Town, dominated by a medieval fortress; and the neoclassical New Town, whose development from the 18th century onwards had a far-reaching influence on European urban planning. The harmonious juxtaposition of these two contrasting historic areas, each with many important buildings, is what gives the city its unique character.
EDINBURGH ACADEMY
Independent School in Edinburgh which opened in 1824, the original building is still part of the senior school. The Edinburgh Academy was originally a day and boarding school for boys. It ceased boarding and transitioned to co-education in 2008 and is now a fully coeducational day school.

ACTIVITIES
During activities we offer a wide range of options which may include: Football, Arts & Crafts, Dance, Tennis, Basketball, etc. Evening entertainment programme may include Talent Show, Disco, Quiz Nights, Film Nights, Sports Tournaments and many more options. Emphasis on communication helps students to use English for a variety of purposes and in various situations. Our aim is to build students’ knowledge and confi dence in understanding and speaking English.
WeCanTeeach has estabilished for providing unique activitiesand exclusive activities included in the program – acitivities that no other operator provides, chich are the result of 30 years experience in the EFL, ESL and Study Vacation world and of a student oriented know-how. The program is called THE ULTIMATE ACTIVITY PROGRAM.
LESSONS
We can teach offers full immersion intensive English courses with a fun twist. The structure includes three hours of English lessons a day with native teachers with schools accredited by the British Council. Lessons are divided into two parts: Part One is focused on language input which involves using grammar and vocabulary in various tasks/exercises, while in Part Two fluency/practice activities aimed at developing fluency through specific tasks like designing a website or poster, conducting a classroom survey or even producing/acting in a short play is practiced. There is also the possibility to take trinity examinations which increases hours spent in the classroom for preparation. We can teach staff are native speakers with years of experience in the education industry.
ACCOMMODATION
The accommodation is brand new, built in a minimalist style and it is the most modern students’ residence in Edinburgh. It opened its doors to foreign students in July 2016. It is located in Leith, district of Edinburgh, and it is only a 10 minute walk from Princes Street and a 15 minute walk from Leith Academy.
